A passion for fabric and colour was the beginning of ‘Patchwork Passion’ as a mail order business some years ago. We have now expanded and have opened a shop so you can easily browse our huge range of fabrics, books, patterns, kits, notions, BOM, plus many more items.

Our policy is to make every visit to Patchwork Passion an enjoyable experience. We aim to keep our products affordable and readily available. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please ask us and we will endeavour to find it for you.

Craft Haven of Berwick retails an extensive range of patchwork fabrics, teddy bear and doll making supplies, embroidery threads and silks ribbons and hobby needs as well as a wide range of giftware.

Classes are available in doll making, embroidery, patchwork and teddy bear making. Our experienced team of teachers at Craft Haven of Berwick aim to inspire our students to create a diverse range of crafts.

We offer friendly helpful service and have a fascinating and well stocked shop where customers can find all they need for their craft.

Diana Della Bosca and Maria Tierney are the co-owners two “crafty” mums who felt that Berwick had no outlet for creative crafty people. “We created Craft Haven for them and welcome them. We offer the three Cs – craft, chat and coffee.”

Before starting a family, Diana worked in the finance and banking industry and Maria was in marketing and advertising. Diana also held craft classes for the mums at the local primary school.

With our passion for craft and our respective backgrounds, the two of us have formed a successful business and partnership.

We jumped in feet first in September 2003 when we bought an existing patchwork shop. We changed the name and revamped the store.

Since those humble beginnings, we have grown rapidly.

Quiltaholics Christmas Break

We have had such a hot November, it feels that we have already experienced summer! Christmas is so close, there aren’t many sleeps left. I will be madly stitching during my break to have some exciting new projects ready for you when we come back!

Most importantly, we would like to wish our loyal and valued customers a very happy and safe Christmas and holiday season.

We will be closing at 4pm on Tuesday December 22 and reopening on Monday January 4. This week is NOT the sale.

Our sale will be for the week commencing Monday January 11, with 20% discount on all fabrics by the metre (exludes fat quarters and precut fabric), selected patterns at half price, and other super specials in the classroom!

Don’t forget we offer gift vouchers for all occasions and if the man in your life isn’t too keen on coming into a patchwork shop we can arrange it all over the phone and post it out in a ‘plain, unmarked envelope’!!
