Quilt Shows & Fairs ~ big and small (and yes even cars)

My family understands – when there’s a quilt show on – I have to be there! There’s no question or doubt about it – it’s just a fact of life. Kind of like breathing, eating and sleeping.

When there’s a country quilt show, we all jump in the car – go for a drive – the family drop me off at the door and they disappear for a few hours and come back when I phone them – or when they’ve had enough of amusing themselves, whichever comes first (they usually quit before I do hehe).

If it’s one of the big shows – the family just know they will be doing their own everything for a couple of days, while I go with my girlfriends and absorb the wonderful atmosphere you only seem to find at a Quilt Show.
